8 Dimensions of Wellness
A Series By Colin ButlerWellness is so much more than going for a walk and eating your vegetables. True wellness is about how you move, think, connect, work, and live—every single day.
Diagnosed with cystic fibrosis at just ten months old, Colin Butler has spent his life proving that living with CF doesn’t mean living within limits. For him, movement and nutrition have always been more than habits—they’ve been lifelines. That belief led Colin to earn degrees in Nutrition and Food Science and Kinesiology from Georgia Southern University, and eventually into a career focused on helping others move better and live stronger. Beyond his university degrees, Colin is also a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, Group Exercise Instructor, and Exercise is Medicine Certified.
Throughout 2026, Colin will be sharing real-life tips, practical strategies, and personal insight across the 8 dimensions of wellness with some guest writers as well.
This upcoming series will explore what it truly means to live well—especially while navigating life with cystic fibrosis. From building resilience and managing stress to finding purpose, balance, and connection, Colin’s perspective blends science, experience, and authenticity.
If you’re looking for realistic, inspiring guidance on how to strengthen your body, support your mind, and live fully—this is a series you won’t want to miss.
