Living with cystic fibrosis (CF) can bring a whole range of challenges, many of them physical, but also deeply personal. One question that comes up a lot is: How do I build a career I care about while managing my health? Whether you’re starting your first job, thinking about a career change, or figuring out how your work fits into your life after a health shift, just know, you’re not alone in wondering how to make it all work.

A job isn’t just about a paycheck. It can give structure to your days, help you feel connected, boost your confidence, and offer a sense of purpose. But when you’re living with CF, you also have to think about things like energy levels, treatment time, and the unpredictable nature of flare-ups. Finding meaningful work doesn’t mean ignoring your health, it means finding a balance that works for you.
