Get Started

Thank you for supporting BreatheStrong CF!

First and foremost, BreatheStrong CF wants to extend a heartfelt thank you for considering fundraising for us. Your efforts are more than just a campaign—they are a lifeline for individuals and families living with cystic fibrosis (CF).

In 2024, we proudly provided over $300,000 in direct support to those impacted by CF.

Every dollar counts, and your contribution—whether it’s a donation, a share, or a fundraiser—is helping us reach our goal of fulfilling each and every grant request we receive.

Thank you for being a part of this important work. Together, we are breathing stronger!

Tips for Success

Sharing a peer-to-peer fundraiser effectively can help you reach a larger audience and generate more donations. We’ve got some strategies for sharing your campaign.By using these strategies and consistently sharing your fundraiser, you increase your chances of reaching a wider audience and meeting your goal.

Always remember to thank your supporters and keep them updated on how their donations are making an impact!

Leverage Social Media

Post Regular Updates: Share updates on the progress of the fundraiser, why you’re raising money, and personal stories that connect to the cause. Use visuals like images and videos to make your posts more engaging.

Share on Multiple Platforms: Post on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok. Tailor your message to fit the platform (e.g., use more personal or storytelling approaches on Facebook and Instagram, professional on LinkedIn, and creative videos on TikTok).

Encourage Sharing: Ask your supporters to share your fundraiser with their own networks. A message from a friend is often more persuasive than an impersonal post.

Email Campaigns

Personalized Emails: Send a personal email to friends, family, colleagues, and others who you think would support the cause. Be specific about the goal and how they can help. Include a clear call to action (e.g., donate, share the link).

Email Signature: Add a link to your fundraiser in your email signature for anyone you correspond with.

Use Messaging Apps

Group Chats: Share your fundraiser in group chats (WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, etc.) where people can easily pass it along.

Direct Messages: Sometimes, a personal message to individuals can be more effective than a public post. Reach out to friends, family, or colleagues directly with a message explaining your cause.

Incorporate Visuals

Photos & Videos: People are more likely to donate when they connect with your story. Use visuals that show the impact of the fundraiser or personal stories related to the cause. Videos can be especially powerful, whether it’s you explaining your reason for fundraising or testimonials from others involved in the cause.

Engage Your Network

Ask for Peer Support: Encourage your friends and family to create their own peer-to-peer fundraisers linked to yours. This expands the reach and taps into their networks.

Host Virtual or In-Person Events

If possible, host an event (virtual or physical) where part of the event proceeds or a donation drive goes toward the fundraiser. This could be a livestream, a virtual trivia night, a bake sale, or any creative event that can encourage donations and awareness.

Tell a Story

People connect with stories more than facts. Share a personal or heartfelt story about why the fundraiser is important, what it means to you, and the difference it will make. The more personal and authentic, the better.
