Team 65ROSES, Augusta

A legacy of support for the cystic fibrosis community
Team 65ROSES, Augusta is a dedicated fundraising team that operates under BreatheStrong CF, working to provide direct support to families affected by cystic fibrosis (CF). Founded in 2012 by Stephanie Brantley in Augusta, GA, the team has been a vital force in raising awareness and funds for CF, a life-shortening disease that impacts approximately 40,000 people across the United States. Stephanie, an avid runner and the mother of three children with CF created the team to make a difference for those facing the challenges of this condition in the Augusta area.

CF affects the lungs and digestive system, making it difficult for individuals to breathe and properly absorb nutrients. The funds raised by Team 65ROSES, Augusta directly benefit local Augusta CF families. To date, the team has raised nearly $145,000 to support patients at the Augusta University CF Care Centers.

The money raised helps provide immediate relief to CF families through the Susan C. Burroughs Critical Needs Initiative, which assists with essential expenses like food and utilities for families experiencing financial hardship due to the burdens of CF care. Additionally, BreatheStrong CF sponsors Exercise Grants, funding physical activity lessons, memberships, and equipment to help CF patients stay active and healthy.
